The Sassafras Studio is a booth in the Blue Ridge Mountain Mall in downtown Blue Ridge, Georgia. It is the woodwork and design of Dwight "TUSE" Mallernee. A lot of the pieces in the mall are one of a kind. All the items are constructed here in Blue Ridge at the shop and studio at his home on top of a mountain overlooking the Cohutta Wilderness. Also you will find hand carved Santa's out for Cypress Knees which have been featured in a Woodcarving magazine.

    Tuse also has built custom kitchen cabinet and vanities for some of the finer homes here in the north Georgia mountains. He had one couple come to him to design and built their kitchen, vanities and an entertainment center that was featured in August 2005 issue of Log Home Living .
